Capgras Syndrome
Capgras Syndromeis a very rare neurological disorder where the patient thinks that close family members, friends, or even (as the example in this video) his/her house is an impostor. This is due to the lesion of the Fusiform Gyrus, which is responsible for the emotional recognition of certain stimuli.
The lesion can occur through stroke or severe accidents (such as the patient in this video).
